Langtang Helambu trek is a trip with a complete combination of nature, culture and religion which covers all the three different parts of Langtang National Park and they are Langtang valley, Gosainkunda Lake and the Helambu area. Famous Hindu religious site Gosainkunda Lake, typical culture and lifestyle of various ethnic communities encountered along the trail and rich natural diversity throughout the whole trip are the remarkable factors to be explored in this trekking route. Covering sub-tropical to alpine climate zones, Langtang national park inhabits various species of birds so that Langtang Helambu area is known as a bird’s paradise of Himalayan region of Nepal. Awe-inspiring Himalayan panorama from various places, diversity on wildlife and flora and fauna are the other highlights of this trekking route.
Day 01 :Arrive at Kathmandu Airport (1340m).
Day 02 :Rest and preparation day in Kathmandu.
Day 03 :Drive 6 to 8 hours to Syabru Bensi (1417m).
Day 04 :Trek 6 hours to Lama Hotel (2481m).
Day 05 :Trek 5 hours to Langtang Village (3420m).
Day 06 :Trek 3 hours to Kyanjin Gompa (3900m).
Day 07 :Excursion day around kyanjin Gompa.
Day 08 :Trek 6 hour down to lama Hotel.
Day 09 :Trek 5 hours to Syabru Village (2240m).
Day 10 :Trek 5 hours to Sing Gompa (3340m).
Day 11 :Trek 3 hours to Lauribina (3901m).
Day 12 :Trek 3 hours to Gosain Kunda (4310m).
Day 13 :Trek 6 hours to Ghopte (3408) via Lauribina Pass (4610m).
Day 14 :Trek 4 hours to Melamchi Ghyang (2560m).
Day 15 :Trek 4 hours to Tarkye Ghyang (2560m).
Day 16 :Trek 4 hours to Kakani (1970m).
Day 17 :Trek 2 and half hours to Melamchi Bazaar (828m) and drive 4 hours to Kathmandu.
Day 18 :A full day Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley and farewell Dinner with family.
Day 19 :Transfer to international airport for your final Departure.
