Mera peak climbing, situating at the elevation of 6461 meters on the edge of famous Khumbu region in Everest Himalayan range, becoming popular among the first time climber. Being the highest trekking peak in Nepal, climbing Mera peak is an opportunity to all the adventure seekers who are physically fit. Mera peak climbing is not technically difficult as ascending snow slopes rarely exceed 40 degrees, although physically very demanding on account of the altitude. Mera is one of the technically easy mountaineering peak in Nepal.
The itinerary of Mera peak has been designed carefully which allows optimum time for building fitness and acclimatization for the climbers which leads to the Mera base camp through the traditional Sherpa villages and alpine forest trails of the Hinku valley containing blue pine and rhododendron.
The summit of Mera Peak offers the spectacular Views of 5 of the 6 highest mountains in the world: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga and Cho-Oyu.
Day 01 :Arrival at Kathmandu.
Day 02 :Sightseeing and preparation day.
Day 03 :Fly to Lukla and trek to Chuthanga (3175m).
Day 04 :Trek to Zatrabok-4,704m via Zatrawala Pass (4,610m),
Day 05 :Trek to Kothe (3800m),
Day 06 :Trek to Thangnak (4600m),
Day 07 :Acclimatization at Thangnak (4600m),
Day 08 :Trek to Khare (5000m),
Day 09 :Rest at Khare for acclimatization
Day 10 :Trek to Mera high camp (5780m).
Day 11 :Reserve day (in case of Bad weather) or summit.
Day 12 :Summit Mera Peak and return to Khare.
Day 13 :Trek back to Kothe (3800m)
Day 14 :Trek to Zatrabok.
Day 15 :Trek to Lukla
Day 16 :Fly to Kathmandu.
Day 17 :Leisure in Kathmandu.
Day 18 :Departure to Airport and Back to Home.
