Tsum Valley Trek, opened newly in 2008 as restricted area for trekking, is one of the least known trekking routes in western Himalayan range in Manaslu region of Nepal. Tsum valley is known as the sacred Himalayan pilgrimage for the Buddhist which is situated in Gorkha district to the north of Kathmandu.
Being a controlled (restricted area) trekking route in rural area of Nepal, allows organized trekking groups with special trekking permit so that the least numbers of tourist visit in this region each year, which is enough to prove it's purity in nature and culture. The Tsum Valley, surrounded by the Buddha Himal, HimalChuli, Ganesh Himal and Sringi Himal, is also known as a sacred hidden valley of Nepal which is enormously rich in ancient art and cultural resources.
Spectacular views, hospitable people, a living Buddhist culture and untouched wildlife because of Buddhist prohibitions on hunting are the highlights to be explored in this sacred valley. So it proves that this trek is perfect for responsible and eco friendly holiday in Nepal.
