Jungle safari is one of the most liked tourism activities in Nepal because of its exceptional biodiversity and a beautiful natural environment of Terai region. Having plenty of wildlife and natural habitats which are preserved and protected as National Parks, Hunting Reserves and Wildlife Reserves, Nepal offers an opportunity to explore and experience the wildlife activities in the tropical jungle of the subcontinent. Though there are total 22 protected areas, Chitwan national park, Bardiya national park, Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve and Parsa wildlife reserve are the most common areas for the jungle safari and other wildlife activities. Elephant back Safari, jungle walk, bird watching, elephant bathing, jungle drive and visit elephant breeding centre are the most highlighted activities. One horned rhinos, Royal Bengal Tiger, deer, beers, crocodiles, bows, pythons, different kinds of birds and wild rabbits are the commonly seen animals in these national parks.
