Dhaulagiri circuit trek is one of the long and demanding trekking route in Nepal. Dhaulagiri, literally means" white mountain", is the seventh highest mountain in the world.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01 :Arrive in Kathmandu 1380m.Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 02 :Pre-trip meeting and preparation day at Kathmandu. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 03 :Drive to Beni by public bus (850m). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 04 :Trek to Babiachor (950m). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 05 :Trek to Dharapani (1,400m). Stay Overnight at tented camp.

Day 06 :Trek to Muri (1,850m). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 07 :Trek to Boghara (2,080m). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 08 :Trek to Dobang (2,520m). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 09 :Trek to Choriban Khola (3,110m). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 10 :Trek to the Italian Base Camp (3,660m). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 11 :Acclimatization and rest day. Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 12 :Trek to the Glacier Camp (4,210m). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 13 :Trek to the Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,740m). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 14 :Another acclimatization and rest day. Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 15 :Cross the French Pass (5,360m) and decend into the Hidden Valley (5,200m). Stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 16 :Cross Dhampus Pass (5,200m) and trek down to Yak Kharka (3,680m). Stay overnight at a tented camp.

Day 17 :Trek to Jomsom (2,710m). Stay Overnight at tented camp.

Day 18 :Morning 20 min flight to Pokhara and Sightseeing around Pokhara. Stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 19 :Drive back to Kathmandu (1,345m) and farewell dinner. Stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 20 :Leisure day or sightseeing around Kathamndu.

Day 21 :Transfer to the international airport for your final departure.

What is Not Included

  • Lunch and dinner whilst in Kathmandu.
  • Travel insurance which covers emergency evacuation and medical (obligatory).
  • Sightseeing/Monument entrance fees in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
  • International airfare and airport departure tax.
  • Nepal entry visa, you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu (bring accurate USD cash and two passport photographs).
  • Altitude chamber (PAC) or oxygen.
  • Expenses of personal nature, Bottled water, alcoholic and cold drinks.
  • Personal trekking Equipment.
  • Accommodation, food and drinks in teahouses.
  • Excess baggage charges (if you have more than 15 kg luggage, cargo charge is around $1.5 per kg).
  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, early return from mountain (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
  • Tips for trekking staffs: Guide, assistant and porters, (Tipping is expected.)
