Around Manaslu trek, opened officially for foreign trekkers in early ninety's as restricted area allowing limited numbers of visitors each year and alternately known as Manaslu circuit trekking, is without a doubt one of the best hiking route in Nepal. Mount Manaslu, the eighth highest peak on the planet, stands almost the middle of the Himalaya and close to the Annapurna Himalayan range, is one of the most spectacular snow-peaks in Nepal.
Being a restricted area for trek, allowing limited numbers of visitors yearly in organized trekking groups with special trekking permit, Around Manaslu trekking provides opportunities to explore the verities of ethnic groups, religions, unspoiled nature and culture, spectacular views, flora and fauna. This Manaslu circuit is a step back in time, a glimpse of pristine Nepali and Tibetan villages, and a walk through a remote Himalayan paradise.
